If you’ve been watching the news, you’ve probably heard of a little storm called Ike. He’s headed our way this weekend. We’re all praying that the damage is minimal but to be on the safe side, Granddad is on his way to our house. Aunt Michelle is staying in Houston so she can help at the church. It’ll be a fun weekend! I’ll have pictures to share !
A little Ike on the side…
Same place…new title
I realized this week that our blog needed a new title. We are no longer a family with toddlers. We have 2 very cute, sweet, adorable, stubborn, tenacious preschoolers…that I can’t get enough of!
We’ve graduated out of toddlerhood into a whole new world. It’s been fun living with my sweet little toddlers but I’m also ready for what is to come. I can see a whole new world waiting for us and I’m excited about it. I was just telling my mom yesterday that I was loving the age that the boys are at right now. They are so funny!
Come back soon for more love and laughter!
A very full weekend…
We’ve been so busy this week that this is the first time I’ve sat down to do anything…much less blog. Having a holiday on Monday really through things off. I have a ton of pictures and videos to post but it will have to wait until tomorrow. We are all ready for bed…it’s been a long but super fun day. We celebrated Daniel’s 3rd birthday today. We had our family and very close friends over to celebrate his life. He was the center of attention and he loved it. We had a “fireman” party with our very own fireman. My brother, Uncle Tuck, showed up in full gear! Daniel was so excited. It was so sweet of John. He’s a great uncle!
The present with the biggest impact was a little bike from Uncle Tuck and Aunt Aimee. It has training wheels and he has his own helmet and knee pads. He rode that bike for almost as hour tonight. It’s so fun to see he and Zachary riding together. I sat there tonight watching them and just soaking in the blessings of my God through my precious famiy. I am a blessed woman. I have a husband that loves God, me and our children. He strives to do his best in all he does and to minister to us through his words and deeds. I have 2 boys that are learning and growing everyday. My famiy is healthy and God has provided for all our needs…what more could I ask for?
Check back soon for lots of pictures and videos!
